After testing multiple products both semi peanut and permanent, my hair responds best to the GKhair line. Every hair type is different. Mine is medium thick, long and porous. So porous on fact that I couldn't get some colors out even with bleach and had to cut it. It holds color well, but not every line of color. As much as I love the colors in Artic Fox and Manic Panic I find I have to recolor more often. That is nor to say that sometimes I'll buy and try them again and again hoping for different results but we all know how that ends. In any case GKhair is go to line of color and color sealer. It just works well for me. I do like that they continue to update their line with new stuff all the time and I will try it, but now that I know what works for me, I tend to be a repeat buyer. I think this does work. I've been coloring my hair dark red lately and usually a lot of the color washes right out. But immediately after I color now I use this instead of the packet that comes with the color, and it actually does prevent a lot of the color from rinsing out. After I first color I use this alone as a condioner for 5 shampoos. Then 3 times a week afterwards I mix it with Pantene condioner for color treated hair. Yes, during the first few shampoos a little color rinses out. But before I started using this a lot more color was coming out. I'm planning to reorder this when I run out.

I love anything in the GKhair hair care line, but I have a soft spot for their color sealer. It's saved me a lot of reapplication, time, and color fade. It works with every other brand of hair dye I've tried too, so it's very versatile.
This product is great for colored hair. It prevents the hair from getting that brassy look.
There was a problem with shipping but the company addressed the issue, fixed and we're all still friends to this day.As for the product itself, this works really well to help lock in color.
